Okay. And according to the bunch of notices that went out, such as https://brave.com/vbat-sunset/ the deadline for connecting and not losing BAT was October 2023.
Correct. You failed to connect despite the many notices. vBAT was sunset and therefore it was all lost.
I notice that in your screenshot you’ve viewed no ads this month. If you haven’t really been using the browser, then you won’t be able to earn anything. Perhaps it’s just the past 2-3 days you have been away from the device, but at least thought I’d share.
I do see you have 21.240 BAT, but I’m guessing you are saying is what you earned in prior months. Assuming haven’t been getting payments, then the assumption is your account is flagged/suspended. Whether that be the case or some other issue at hand, the only thing you can do is to create a Rewards Support Ticket at https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001302431
One point of clarification: on my Mobile browser, I have been viewing ads frequently. I am not sure how to check the monthly accrued BAT that should have been deposited, so I have attached the log from my Mobile Brave browser.
In scanning the Logs, I see frequent errors:
ERROR: redeem_reward_confirmation.cc(141) Payment token is not ready. brave_rewards_sensitive_log (3).txt (1.8 MB)
Screen Capture from (Mobile) Brave Browser Rewards
Yes, which is why I mentioned that perhaps it may just have been the past 2-3 days that you were away from that device. I’ve just seen enough things be said by people that I try to cover all the bases, so to speak.
You can’t. The only time Brave has ever had a history of sorts for payments was when we had vBAT and the payments were made directly to the browser. Anything going directly to custodial accounts, such as Uphold, just would show up in the transaction history in those accounts. So if you go to Uphold, you should see when anything was added or removed from your Uphold account.
I’m not looking at yours specifically, but I will let you know that 99% of the error messages people tend to see in Rewards logs are just basic things, like perhaps it saying you viewed the ad it was wanting to show you the maximum amount of times already. Or perhaps it was checking to see if it could show an ad but it’s “too soon.” (For example, we can only see one NTP ad every 15 minutes).
There are a lot of harmless error messages, but people can panic or think an issue as they look.
Based on your last screenshot, it looks like you’re seeing ads and earning estimated BAT. However, if your account is flagged (suspended), you wouldn’t receive any payment when it’s payout time. If flagged, this would apply to all devices linked to the same Uphold account. Brave doesn’t notify users about being flagged; the only way to find out is by submitting a support ticket.
When you submit a ticket, Brave will either:
Find an error: They’ll resolve the issue and help you get paid.
Confirm you’re flagged: If flagged, they’ll review your account and decide:
If reinstated, you’ll start earning again but won’t receive payment for the time your account was flagged.
If not reinstated, your account will remain permanently flagged, meaning you won’t be able to earn or receive payments in the future and won’t receive anything from before.
