Description of the issue: Android browser gradually takes up storage space
How can this issue be reproduced?
Expected result: Started from about 100 MB, now up to 1.1 GB
Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.8.112
Mobile Device details Android 9; SM-J260A

Have you tried clearing temporary files? I think Brave downloads pieces of web pages as you browse. When I check for updates in the Play store or once a month from the system settings, my phone will ask if I want to clear some space. I usually empty out the temporary folders.
In my settings, I went into the Brave app and I discovered there was a clear cache setting. I cleared its cache and now it’s down to 202 MB. Thanks so much
