The brave app data is consuming more than 12 gb of storage

Not entirely clear on what those files are/where they came from. Have you tried clearing the app cache in your system settings?

Cleqring app cache doesn’t delete those files
I tried that before raising a concern

So basically I should go ahead and Manually delete them…deleting this would not delete any kind of app data right??

I would

  1. Clear cache, cookies, and history

  2. Quit Brave Browser

  3. Delete the items

Even after deleting the files the storage shows the same not sure where it went…
