Brave now opens to last page opened

Brave is set to open the New Tabs Page on startup. Instead opens the last pages open on Startup

Load webpage, close brave, open brave same page loads instead of New Tab page

On Every Open

Yes, I do. Currently set on Startup to open the New Tab page.

@Perdita,
Do you have any extensions installed in the browser at this time? Can you also tell me if you have any data set to be deleted “on exit” in Settings --> History --> Clear browsing data --> [On exit]?

About 19 extensions installed at the moment, on exit isn’t set to clear any data

I would wager that one of those extensions is causing this behavior. You can test this a couple of ways (I suggest both):

  1. Create a new, temporary browser profile and test the behavior and see whether or not it respects the option selected.
  2. Disabling all the extensions then, if the issue is resolved, re-enable them one at a time until you find the offending extension.
