Brave not opening on my windows account

Hi Brave Community,

I’ve been a loyal Brave user for over three years, but recently the browser refuses to open no matter what I try. I’m desperate for help because I genuinely love Brave and don’t want to switch. Here’s what I’ve done so far:

  1. Watched every YouTube tutorial on fixing Brave crashes (cleared cache, disabled extensions, reinstalled, etc.).
  2. Completely reset my Windows PC 4 times, reinstalling ONLY Brave afterward.
  3. Tried older versions of Brave, Beta/Nightly builds, and even portable versions.
  4. Checked for conflicting software

Symptoms:

  • Brave installer runs, but the browser never launches (no process in Task Manager).
  • No error messages — it just doesn’t open.

System Details:

  • OS: Windows 11

This only happens when I’m on my specific windows account. Brave works perfectly on my other local account on this very pc. PLS HELP GUYS
