I have been using brave for a year with not one issue. Ever since the last brave update a couple of weeks ago I’ve been having issues with the browser. Metamask will not connect to any site.(I have tried reinstalling metamask but did not fix) my other wallets will connect.
Any help on these issues would be greatly appreciated.
There is an open Github report regarding MetaMask, hopefully developers will fix the issue soon as a lot of people are currently affected.

Ever since the update to V1.27.108 MetaMask fails to connect to web3 websites on… Brave browser. Up until today, I was able to get it working by uninstalling the addon and re-installing the addon, but today that doesn't work any longer. Sometimes I will get a Metamask pop-up, independent of the addon that I can sign in to, but it happens randomly. I have tried re-installing after I shut down my PC, but that doesn't work either,
Meanwhile, in another Community thread, @Luckys shared a workaround that worked for a few users, you might give it a try if you like.
Hi, Iv encountered a problem signing in with MetaMask using the Brave brower recently. I double checked with Chrome and also using brave on Mac, which worked. however it did not on Windows. Is it a known issue, or is there annything i can do?
This is what it says in the metamask when i try using anny Dapp
“We noticed that the current website tried to use the removed window.web3 API. If the site appears to be broken, please click here for more information.”
Cant find annyyhing about it online.…
