Brave mobile Gemini wallet support [SOLVED]

I am running Brave 1.38.119, Chromium 101.0.4951.67. I want to verify the Gemini wallet.

I can see Uphold and Gemini options when I attempt to verify, but nothing happens after selecting either option.

Is this known to be broken?

Tried again later that evening, no update, no change in any way, and this time it just worked #shrugface
