Hello,
I am having an issue so that the brave browser keeps logging me out of sites every time I close the browser or restart the PC. I believe it started after the last update to v1.49.128.
Can somebody help me solve the issue?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and I’m sorry to hear you are going through this. On that case, try creating a new profile by going to main menu > create a new profile and see if the issue persist.

If you go to brave://settings/clearBrowserData do you have anything enabled under ‘On exit?’

I had “Download history”, “Cached images and files” and “Cookies and other website data” ticked. I unticked the Cookies and it doesn’t log me out anymore. But I had this setting for over 2 years so why has it started to behave like this now?
No idea, but that setting 
would do it. I haven’t ever heard of this enabling itself; my first guess is that maybe it got enabled by accident.
