I know this topic has been discussed before and no solution has been offered yet, my issue is similar but slightly different. I have 4 or 5 accounts/profiles. I can login, close the browser open it again and no issue, however one of them, drives me insane, as soon as I close it and open it again, I have to sign in to Google and Google refuses my credentials (logins password) even though it’s the correct password, then Google sends me a code I enter the stupid code, once that’s done I am logged in, and then I try and login to YouTube, I have to do this process all over again. It only happens with Brave.
And if I accidentally close Brave, I will have to do it all over again.
It’s very irritating, annoying and frustrating, because it’s really hard to pinpoint the root cause. Is Google as usual messing us about?
Why just on one account and not the others? (The account I use frequently)
Hi there,
I am running windows 10 pro.
No, I haven’t installed any extensions.
I have several Google/YouTube accounts, but it seems to only happening to the one (account) profile.
I don’t get this with chrome, Firefox, Edge, Opera or even Yandex. I have tried several of them, it only happens with brave.
Any ideas what might cause this?
Thank you.

@adbask, just to confirm, are you saying this issue only happens in one specific browser profile but works fine in your other profiles? For example, are you able to stay logged into your Google/YouTube accounts on a second profile on the same device?
It sounds like something may be clearing cookies in that profile, which could disrupt the login. It may be worth checking if you have different Shields settings or other settings that might be clearing cookies automatically. Typically, Google/YouTube/Gmail accounts should stay logged in unless something interferes with the login cookies.
As for the things 289wk mentioned, shouldn’t need to mess with it. I certainly don’t have any of them permitted and never get logged out. But you at least have something you can experiment with. Shouldn’t be any harm in it, though if trying to aim for privacy is kind of pointless to change.
Hi there, Saoiray
Precisely. Yes. I have 4 other “Google/YouTube accounts”
I am not having this issue, only with one of them.
I have checked I could not see what could potentially clear the cookies or delete them upon exit. It’s very weird, the worst part is, It’s hard to tell whether the problem is with the browser, the profile or just Google messing me about.
