(Just downloaded Brave from Chrome, so this is probably the latest version, also, I’m using Windows 10 on a Surface Pro.)
Description of Issue: Brave will close out 3-20 seconds within opening it.
Steps to Reproduce:
Expected Result: Brave will function normally.
Actual Result: After 3-20 seconds, it will close out.
Already tried redownloading it w/out admin privileges. Didn’t work.
Beta, Nightly, and Dev are crashing too.
After today’s update for me it started to crash on specific sites, for example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrsITELdXQM (just on this specific video)
Ill update as it crashes on more sites.

Same here started randomly closing after windows update.
The nightly version of Brave crashes when you open any site while Brave Rewards is on.

Any news on this? More and more sites pilling on the crash list.
I don’t know. I honestly don’t know what to do at this point, nobody’s really been helping me and Brave is really the only browser I can use that can get past blocked sites.
As a workarround you can try incognito mod eon nighty build, it is not crashing for me, but its a pain to have to login everitime to all sites.
I believe I have resolved the situation. The close-outs were because of my Qustodio parental controls, and I have now disabled the engine and the crashes ceased.
