Description of the issue:
The Auto Shread feature is very unreliable. It sometimes keeps cookies, history, and other website data at random times, completely ignoring the fact that the website tab is completely closed.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Navigate to some websites (this seems to happen more often on x.com)
- Close website tab
- Move away from the browser
- Wait a while
- Go back and check history / website data
Expected result:
All websites data and history cleaned up and gone.

- This happens at random times. Sometimes it works for a website and other times it refuses to clean anything.
- Shred is set to “Site tabs closed”.
