Auto Shred on iOS deletes browsing history along with cookies and cache data. “Forget me when I close this site” doesn’t delete browsing history on desktop only cookies and the cache are deleted.
I am a user who likes to keep their browsing history and not delete it. But that is not possible on iOS if I enable this feature.
Can you please put these options in settings for auto shred on iOS:
1.) Never
2.) Site tabs close (with browsing history)
3.) App Close (with browsing history)
4.) Site tabs close (without browsing history)
5.) App close (without browsing history)
Even maybe additional new settings for users?
6.) Site tabs close and app close (with browsing history)
7.) Site tabs close and app close (without browsing history)
Lastly:
Instead of adding all those options you can have one option in a drop down named:
Auto Shred browsing history:
1.) Include browsing history
or
2.) do not include browsing history
Then have the options:
1.) Never
2.) Site tabs close
3.) App Close
4.) Site tabs close and app close
