Brave Instant Chrash

Description of the issue:Brower Chrashes after i open it with only and white screen showing for and little flick, I tryed to reinstall brave but it didnt work

Actual Result:?

Expected result:Brave Chrash

Reproduces how often:10/10

Operating System and Brave Version:win 11 / Version 1.48.171 Chromium: 110.0.5481.177

Additional Information:When i rename the Brave.exe to Brave1.exe or any other name it works but cant be used as an standart browser

Hi there @Keksebumser, please accept my apologies for this issue. Please try installing the Beta or Nightly version of Brave to see if the issue persists on those versions.

@Keksebumser did both versions crashed when installing them on your device or neither of the options properly run?

@Keksebumser in this case, please try the following steps to see if you are able to repair your Brave files.

  1. In the search box on the taskbar, type control panel and select Control Panel from the results.
  2. Select Programs > Programs and Features.
  3. Right-click Brave and select Repair, or if that’s not available, select Change. Then follow the directions on the screen.

Let me know if that works.

@Keksebumser do you have any antivirus or file cleaning software installed on your PC that may be interfering with Brave or have it Blacklisted?

I’ve already thought of that and entered it into the firewall, but unfortunately it didn’t work

@Keksebumser on assets you will find BraveBrowserNightlySetup.exe please try installing that nightly version to see if anything changes.
