Brave freezes regularly on IOS

Description of the issue:
Certain web pages freeze on IOS. This doesn’t happen on the desktop, only with iPhone.

How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Load norauto.fr on IOS.
   2.Try scrolling
2. Try using a button if it shows

Expected result:
It will scroll, and buttons will function. But instead it freezes and nothing works.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.46.2

Mobile Device details

iPhone 13, IOS 16.2

Additional Information:

Turning shields off has no effect. I use Express VPN. Disconnecting it has no effect.

Thanks for your reply. In order to get a Private window, you’d have to hit the tabs button (like you’re trying to switch tabs, it’s a little box with a number showing how many tabs open). Then while it’s showing all open tabs, you’ll see the Private button to click on.

It works for me. Can you try upgrading to latest version which is 1.48.1?

Hi, OK, I tried the problem sites in a private tab, same result. I already have 1.48 installed, it doesn’t change anything, it still freezes.

PS I tried opening the desktop version of one site to see if that worked any better - it didn’t.

I still haven’t solved this problem. If you haven’t got a solution I’m just going to remove Brave from my phone. That would be too bad.
