Description of the issue:
About 2 weeks ago, Brave would freeze on startup. Sometimes, the default page loads, or else it’s just an empty white (or black) window. This happens despite reinstalling, even formatting (!) and reinstalling Windows 11 from scratch. Installing the beta or nightly builds makes no difference
How can this issue be reproduced?
- This is somewhat difficult to answer, other than installing Windows 11, then installing Brave afterwards
Expected result:
Browser freezes (unresponsive)

):
Unable to do so due to the freeze, although I’ve tried all the latest releases (release/beta/nightly)
Additional Information:
For whatever reason, task manager also stops functioning correctly when I try to use the browser, so I can’t kill the Brave process. I have to reboot Windows.
