Brave for Mac not opening!

I downloaded and installed Brave directly from the website and whenever I try to open it I get a message saying " Brave Browser quit unexpectedly. Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple."
I recently bought a new iMac and I continue to have this issue.

Brave has never opened before on either Macs I have.

My iMac is currently running on 10.14.6 (18G1012) (MacOS Mojave).
