Be able to add a list of site exceptions for the brave://flags Auto Dark Mode for Web Contents, #enable-force-dark
Some websites are already on dark mode and the auto dark mode just breaks the website, while some just get completely broken.
If it is possible to make it so you can customize which of the options to use for a specific website, even better.
As far as I know, this is an option on Android (stable release of Brave) â #darken-websites-checkbox-in-themes-setting
flag (screenshots) works quite well (but #enable-force-dark
has to be disabled). Yet, it is still not available on PC (I am using the stable release on a Windows 10 PC). This would be such a great feature for the PC version!
I am not certain whether this is available on the beta version of Brave on PC.
I agree with the above suggestion⌠I tried looking around to see if this is âin the worksâ but couldnât find one so I thought Iâd add the two guys I see most on this site to maybe get an answer: @Mattches @Saoiray
I also add, could we move this out of Experimental/Flags Please?
Also @RyujiLy could I please ask you to edit your original post to include category: Desktop Requests (not just Brave Feature Requests) and maybe add some tags macos windows feature-request (if not itâs kinda old news at this point anyway )
Background:
In wanting to use less Extensions (so not using âDark Readerâ anymore, see link below), I found the flag: brave://flags/#enable-force-dark that makes websites dark by default, and itâs good but not quite perfect if we can receive that EXCEPTION option and again maybe a native/non-flag option that would be even better.
ALSO, I (again) VERY MUCH APPRECIATE the update improvement made to mobile (iOS: 1.70.1) on the Dark Mode side of things as mentioned in another recent post (see below)
