Description of the issue:
The browser does not remember the windowed size and position it was last left into. As soon as the browser is maximized again and the computer is restarted, Brave forgets those windowed size and position and just creates a window that is as big as the screen, in my case a window that fits in 1920x1080 resolution.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Grab the window and drag it so it stops being maximized
- Click the unmaximize button on the top next to the close button
It can be reproduced numerous times.
Expected Result: It should revert to a window whose size is as it was the last time before shut down
Brave Version: 1.75.180 Chromium: 133.0.6943.126 (Official Build) unknown (64-bit)
Additional Information:
OS: Linux Mint 22.1 x86_64
Kernel: 6.8.0-54-generic
Resolution: 1920x1080
DE: Xfce 4.18
I could unmaximize the window, resize it to my liking and position it, then if I maximize and unmaximize it again it behaves as expected, but as soon as I restart my computer, the behavior repeats itself - the windowed size and position are not remembered.
