My Brave Browser has not been opening since yesterday. My main profile always instantly crashes as soon as I open it. I created a new profile yesterday to be able to still use brave but my old profile still cannot open.

My previous crash ID’s seemed to have been deleted but my main profile still cannot run.
Brave Version: 1.68.128
Hi, I’ve reinstalled the newer version yet my original profile still keeps crashing. I don’t have any extensions for brave and it was working perfectly fine before the crashes started to happen.

I can open my new profile perfectly fine but when I open my old profile, everything crashes including the new profile
I have been experiencing Brave crashes while running videos on Windows 10 with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB. Windows Event Viewer reported Application Error for Brave and for “Faulting application path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\dwm.exe”. DWM is Desktop Window Manager which is responsible for rendering the visual effects of your Windows desktop, like transparency, live taskbar thumbnails, and window animations. Searching on these forums I found that disabling Hardware Acceleration can solve video related crashes. I have disabled hardware acceleration and so far no crashes. Will update if this fix is stable.
