Description of the issue:
I use Brave Browser on my iPad. Routinely, Brave crashes on any page that has too many images/links/videos.
One website it crashes on is dailymail.co.uk - I cannot view this website at all in Brave as it will crash Brave almost immediately and continue to crash Brave as I try to view the site.
Another page I note a major issue with is on a website called Twitchy. They have a Monday Meme article with a lot of memes linked in the article. I’ve attempted to reach this article 20 times this morning and cannot get through it - the browser crashes routinely as I am attempting to browse the page.
I really would prefer to use Brave for my private browsing, but the browser cannot seem to handle any website with more than a couple of images/links embedded on it.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- On iPad OS 17.6.1, Brave 1.69.2 (172), navigate to dailymail.co.uk or to twitchy.com/fuzzychimp/2024/10/21/monday-morning-meme-madness-n2402137
- Scroll down the page for a minute or two until Brave crashes
- Restart Brave and try again.
Expected result:
Brave will crash. I’ve experienced this on the twitchy site multiple times this morning. It literally crashed three times while I was trying to get the URL for the twitchy site.
