Brave causing DPC_Watchdog_Violation

Description of the issue:

When browsing to a new website in brave a full system crash can occur. This produces a BSOD with the error being DPC_Watchdog_Violation

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Brave
  2. Open a new tab
  3. Perform a search or open a website

Expected result:

Brave executes the search and a full system crash does NOT happen.

Brave Version( check About Brave):

v1.48.158

Additional Information:

Not very reproducible. Happens on maybe 1 in every 50 searches. I have temporarily switched to Firefox which has stopped the crashing. I’m guessing this is probably a windows issue but I’m not sure where to post for support first.
