The last 4 days Brave will not open at first boot. (It is on my Login Items list.)
I must force quit Brave and then it will open normally.
Brave Version 1.35.101 Chromium: 98.0.4758.87 (Official Build) (x86_64)
Mac OS 11.6.4
It opens automatically via a setting in the System Preferences/Users and Groups/LogIn Items.l
I don’t know what happens behind the GUI and I haven’t modified anything. But your reply gave me the idea that I could try deleting Brave and adding it again to see if it will open properly.
Lately Brave has had other issues, including one day when almost every extension needed repairing. A couple of days prior it was only a few with the problem and I do not recall ever having to repair anything in the past.
