Brave browser is completely broken on my Windows desktop PC. I think there might have been an update just before I switched the machine off. Today, when I try to open Brave I just get a frozen white, or sometimes black, screen that is completely frozen. I can do nothing with it.
I cannot use the uninstaller as it just hangs forever. All I see is a tiny window when hovering over the taskbar icon.
I have tried fresh installs but the same happens.
I have tried disabling extensions by changing the shortcut target to “C:\Program Files\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\Application\brave.exe” --disable-extensions but this doesn’t work, although the window that opens does appear to have an ‘X’ close window because that works, except I can’t see it.
