Brave Bookmarks

Hi, and I am sorry if this has been asked before, but I did search and could not find my specific issue/solution mentioned.

I am very new to “Brave” having only heard about it, and installed it, just two days ago. I love it. I have used Firefox since it was first released but I am fast replacing all my browsing with Brave.

Anyway my issues are:

1. How do I use the bookmarks manager (or other way) to organise my imported bookmarks?

Brave has them like this:

to this:

That is, how do I get rid of the “Imported from Firefox” subfolder and just have all my bookmarks in a single tree in their own folders and sub-folders?

2. Is there any way in “Brave” to open all tabs/links in a folder at once instead of only being able to open a single link?

In Firefox there is a “Open all tabs” option in each folder containing multiple tabs/links.

macOS Mojave 10.14.6 (completely up-to-date)

Running on a early 2015 MacBook Pro, 8Gig Ram, SSD drive

Brave is up to date, Version 0.68.132 Chromium: 76.0.3809.132 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Thanks you for your help, cheers

If you are on the bookmarks manager page, you should be able to right click on a folder and have the option to open all of the bookmarks in the folder.

Thank you for that Alex :+1:

I would still like to know how to get rid of the “Imported from Firefox” folder and just have all the sub-folders in it as a tree of folders straight under the “Bookmarks” menu?

@PeterMac,
You should be able to simply drag, drop and organize your bookmarks as you would normally. Observe the gif below – I’ve imported bookmarks from FF into Brave. Then, I created a folder in which I’d like to place these bookmarks and subsequently do so.

Then delete the old Imported from Firefox folder. Is this the type of functionality you’re looking for?
