Brave Beta not updating

Description of the issue:

For some Time Brave Beta has some Updates for the Beta Version, but when trying to update it says Brave is up to date. I also was trying to download the newest Version with the BraveBrowserBetaSetup.exe provided in the Github. Setup says the same Version Installed is up to date. Beta Version on Github that is the newest is 1.54.92.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Setup File provided on Github says up to date and tried the Setup from other Versions too

Expected result:

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Version 1.54.76 Chromium: 115.0.5790.32 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)

Additional Information:

Well, only because it is available on Github, doesn’t mean the server will push the update.
Don’t run the BraveBrowserBetaSetup.exe, that’s not going to change the problem, since that will call Brave servers.
You have to use the BraveBrowserStandaloneBetaSetup.exe versions, which are the offline installers.
And never run the BraveBrowserStandaloneSilentBetaSetup.exe that will not install with admin rights so it will install in %LoalAppData% just as the updater, so you will mess with the one in Program Files.

Also, Why not Nightly? Beta is pretty much a meeh build, Nightly gets the latest changes right away, sometimes Beta needs weeks to get all the cool features and fixes. Nightly uses Chromium beta builds, so it is stable most of the time.
But you will get a build almost every day, week days, not on weekends, and they release like 3 updates per day, so can always install the standalone if you don’t want to wait for a build and you want to use it it right away to test a new feature or something.

But anyway, the problem is you are using the online installer which will do the same as the updater.
