Brave automatically minimize/maximize when I click on the tab bar

Description of the issue:

  • As per the title, when I click on the empty space of the tab bar, the brave windows automatically minimize/maximize itself, which is really annoying, how do I turn it off?
    Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
  • Just click on any empty space on the tab bar

@hanhvn, by deleting the reply, you brought it back to the more recent posts, which helps in getting it noticed. With many posts coming in regularly, it’s easy for things to slip through. Sometimes, replying to keep it active is all that’s needed, like you did.

Regarding your issue, it seems like your clicks might be registering as double clicks or that the mouse is moving while clicking, which the browser interprets as dragging the window.

  • Have you tested to see if this happens on any other browsers?
  • I also noticed you have extensions installed. Could any of them be causing this issue? It might be helpful to test on a new browser profile or at least open a private window to see if the problem persists there as well.
