Maximized window when minimized will always opens full screen

Description of the issue:
Maximized window when minimized will always opens full screen
How can this issue be reproduced?
Open a Window, Maximize it, Minimize it, click on it in status bar, it will open full screen every time, not respecting last mode.

Expected result:
It should open Maximized, not full screen, I like the windows Status bar.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Latest Windows and Brave
Version 1.47.186 Chromium: 109.0.5414.119 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
Any tricks to force the browser to stay OUT of Fullscreen UNLESS I press F11?

Hello there @kilroy59 please accept my apologies for this inconvenience. Could you please try opening your main profile in private or guest mode to see if the same issue persist? If it does not go full-screen, try disabling your extensions to see if this is the cause of the issue.

You can open a Guest Window by going to Main menu → Open Guest window:

  1. On your computer, open Brave.
  2. At the top right, click Menu → More tools → Extensions.
  3. On to the extension you want to remove, click Remove.
  4. Confirm by clicking Remove.

Thank you Kevin,

Following your steps it was an easily replaceable ruler plugin causing
the issue. I thought I’d checked them all already, apparently not. I’ve
been putting up with this for several months and such an easy fix.
