Brave Audio stutters

Audio seems to “skip” or “stutter” when playing audio through Brave.
This can be reproduced by listening to a Soundcloud audio.

  1. Visit Soundcloud.com
  2. Click on any audio to play it
  3. Listen for the “stutter” in the audio. It’s basically like a 1ms pause. Seems to happen semi-randomly.

Expected result:
Smooth audio with no gaps, stutters, or breaks.

Version 1.65.130 Chromium: 124.0.6367.159 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
I this might be because of CPU spiking. Having a Task Manager open, I check the state of the CPU usage when it occurs. I can see that it suddenly jumps up to 30% for no reason and just falls right back down. I didn’t touch anything and just watched. I been having some issues with GPU acceleration as well and I have to play with some settings. All GPU drivers are up to date and this happens in Private mode as well. I reinstalled Brave but still no fix.
