That post is from a long time ago. Brave now follows the Chromium model and deletes history after 90 days. In fact now. that I’m looking at it, I may have been incorrect back then when I said that as well

It is not something to “fix”, it is the intended behavior.
We do have an open issue to change this behavior - I’ve added these thread to the Github issue and tagged a dev to see if we can get another look at it:
