Brave andorid needs a bottom address bar option. I’ve tried it in nightly by modifying flags, but its was not functioning properly. When will it ne available fully?
Also adding custom Shortcuts in homepage will improve usability.
Just a FYI, someone today pointed out it’s available. I don’t have Android to test if they are referring to Release or to Nightly, but they did include a screenshot. Supposedly just have to activate the flag, so I guess would be in brave://flags
I also tried this. It’s most probably in nightly. But the buttons like the brave lion, bat, not working properly in bottom tab.
To get this:
- Go to chrome://flags/
- Enable #android-bottom-toolbar
- In Brave settings > appearance > toggle off the ‘Enable bottom toolbar’ option
- Relaunch
- You’ll see a new option in Brave settings > features > address bar
- Select Bottom
Done.
But the buttons don’t work properly as in the video.
