Description of the issue:
I think the first time I installed brave, I imported my bookmarks from chrome. I checked and my syncing settings are all off. Even between brave on desktop and mobile. Despite that, when I change my bookmarks, and return to brave after a while, they are still unchanged. The ones that got deleted reappear. The ones added disappear. There is even a folder that keeps getting renamed. It should be “RWTH” and it’s getting renamed automatically to “LinkedIn” even though I never renamed it to that, even on other browsers. This is really annoying.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Closing and reopening the browser
- Keeping the browser open for a while
