Bookmarks reappearing after being deleted

I imported bookmarks from Chrome. When I try to remove any/all of them, they reappear, and sort out of order. Every time I remove the bookmarks they come back

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Imported bookmarks from Chrome
  2. Delete bookmarks
  3. Bookmarks reappear, cannot be permanently removed

Expected result:
Bookmarks permanently delete

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.13.82 Chromium: 85.0.4183.83 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Additional Information:
I tried to uninstall/reinstall and the bookmarks were there again.

Sounds like sync being borky… remove the sync chain, fix the bookmarks, then try to turn sync on again… but if you just care about bookmarks. i’d suggest using eversync extension instead of brave sync…
