Description of the issue:
I imported bookmarks from Chrome, but I didn’t delete my old bookmarks in Brave first. So I decided to clear all bookmarks and reimport it from Chrome. A day later, I noticed I now have duplicate bookmarks in the bookmarks bar in Brave. I deleted all of my bookmarks again and reimported from Chrome. Next day, I saw dupes again, so I decided to just delete one last time and this time I DID NOT IMPORT from Chrome. The next hour I saw the bookmarks appear again.
I do have multiple devices in sync chain (Mac/Windows/Pixel phone/iPhone)
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Sync with a variety devices. Have some bookmarks. Import from Chrome on Windows. Notice the duplicates after a day. Delete all bookmarks and immediately import from Chrome again. Wait a while and you’ll see duplicate bookmarks
