Bookmarks added to the top ribbon are not saving. They will show up on the ribbon but once I close my browser and reopen it’s not longer there. Same thing for deleting a bookmark on the ribbon. It reappears when I reopen my browser. Similarly, the ExpressVPN plug-in gets added but disappears and needs to be reinstalled after closing and opening my browser. I’m using a Windows 11 laptop and the Brave version is 1.68.137 Chromium: 127.0.6533.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Is there an online Chat Support agent with Brave that could assist with my issue?
No, Brave doesn’t offer such a thing.

- Do you have any bookmarks saved or it’s always empty? - Yes, the same 11 bookmarks stay on my ribbon. Adding new ones to the ribbon stay until I close and reopen browser.
- Have you double checked your settings to make sure you aren’t doing something like clearing data on exit? - I believe nothing is set to cause issues. I have “Continue where you left off” selected as a setting for “On startup” and “Delete browsing data” “On exit” is not turned on.

- Installing this through Google extension store (web store) or how are you installing it? - Installed Brave browser by Googling and downloading from a browser, no web / app store.
On a different laptop, I installed Brave and added bookmarks to the ribbon and it seems to be staying on the ribbon. Similarly, ExpressVPN plug-in stays added to the Brave browser, whereas, it gets uninstalled on my laptop in question.

First, can you please go ahead and update to the latest build of the browser (v1.68.141)?
I would be interested to know whether or not this occurs in a new profile — could you please open the browser, go to Menu --> More tools --> Add new profile
and create a new profile.
Then, close your original profile, save some bookmarks in the new profile, close and reopen it and see if the issue persists there.
