We have an open issue to consider adding the “tree” style view to the bookmarks sidebar here:

## Description Many of the users who are giving feedback about the new bookmarks sidebar layout/functionality appear to have two main issues with the changes — the order of the bookmarks that they have set (potentially meticulously) over time is not retained (see https://github.com/brave/brave-browser/issues/34776) and that they can no longer change the visual style to the "tree-view". The visual and list style options are nice, but they do require additional clicks (potentially several, depending on the number of bookmarks)/interactions to navigate to the desired bookmark/folder, while tree-style view doesn't require going up/down any levels as everything is visible on the same screen. I am unclear as to just how much work it would take to add/maintain a change like this but I think we will certainly see enough requests for this as more users are exposed to the feature to justify at least considering implementing it. cc @rebron @simonhong
