Description of the issue:
I installed Brave on my laptop (Dell XPS 9560, Windows 10) and the browser’s icon is continously not being displayed on the taskbar as soon as I close the first instance of the browser, a blank page icon is being displayed instead.
A blank page icon is also presented when checking the properties of Brave’s exe file.
I’ve tried reinstalling with all possible instances of “brave” deleted in the registry, as well as unpinning and pinning the browser to the taskbar, but the issue was not resolved.
I’ve installed the same Brave version on my PC (also Windows 10), and I do not have this issue.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Install and open Brave browser
- Close Brave browser
- Open Brave browser

Additional Information:
A small problem, but psychologically distressing as a blank page is associated with files that cannot be opened by available software, not something that you want to see on your taskbar at all times.
Any help would be appreciated.
