Unfortunately, I’m from Hawai’i. For some reason Brave Rewards prompts me to verify my wallet through BitFlyer, which I have a KYC verified account. When I try to do so a Japanese prompt comes up " Brave Browser への連携に失敗しました。" Luckily being Japanese American, I understand what this means, “The connection with the Brave Browser has failed.” The other information provided explains that certain settings on either side does not support its connection. I’m not sure what is going on, but being from Hawai’i, new Uphold accounts cant be created anyway in 2021. Mahalo!
