BAT not increasing on Android

Brave 1.26.67 Chromium 91.0.4472.114
Wallet not verified as I have not reached 25 BAT since I started using Brave in December 2020.
I’m not using a VPN and I am in a supported region. SafetyNet tests passed. Auto contribute is turned off.

I had taken this screenshot on the 6th of June 2021:

Since then, I’ve received 40 ads:

I took this screenshot today, which shows that the BAT is still the same (10.250) as it was at the start of the month despite having viewed 40 ads.

@Mattches @steeven Can you please check this? I’ve been using Brave on my mobile since Dec 2020 and I’ve still not even been able to verify my wallet because the BAT doesn’t increase. Please check and remediate. Thanks!

Worth mentioning here that if you already have an existing and verified Uphold account, you can verify your wallet without meeting the minimum requirement.

Sorry @Mattches , I didn’t know that. I thought each wallet needs to be verified independently of the other. I tried verifying it, but it tells me that I need to have 25 BAT to verify, so I assumed they worked independently of each other. Can you point me in the direction of how I can do this?

Please also let me know what I need to do to get the BAT on my mobile browser to update with the ads i’m getting for this month, and also the past months.

Well that’s strange – for one, the minimum should now show 15 rather than 25 for minimum balance. Additionally, you should also see the option to login and verify on the panel:

what you are looking at is your wallet balance, it will only increase once the monthly payment is made.

it seems to me your are confusing the wallet balance with the “estimated pending rewards” – this is the one that change every time you see an ad –

@JohnDproof Do you mean wallet balance in Uphold? My uphold balance on the same day as the screenshot was $24.82 and $7.70 in Brave mobile.

Acc to my calculations, if I had 10.250 in Mobile, and 4.127 on the laptop, I should have received 14.377 but I received 12.66 BAT. It’s not a question of the 2missing BAT, but I’m trying to understand what’s happening here because something’s not adding up.

Another question if you don’t mind, does a payout of about 0.037 BAT per ad sound right to you?
