This is the second message about this problem. Every time I open a page on the net it comes in black background. I recently made Brave my home browser. When I go into settings, then appearance, then brave colors I chose same as MAC OS one day and then switched to Light. But none of this matters. All pages have a black background and it is impossible to read because it hurts the eyes and distorts photos and video.

I can’t help, but if you are still experiencing problems, you may want to open a new topic in Browser Support and submit a help request using the template provided. Make sure you supply as much information as possible. You may have more success in getting a response from a moderator. The template/instructions are in the right pane when you create a new topic.
Also, here are a couple of topics that appear to have the same issues. Maybe it can help solve your problem without submitting a support request?

- What OS version you’re using
- What Brave version you’re using
- What specific sites do you see this behavior on
- Whether or not you have any extensions installed in the browser at this time
