August Gemini Payment, 0 BATs

Briefly describe your issue:
On August 31st I updated Brave to the version that supported the Gemini wallet.
I already had a Gemini account so I verified with it and it appears as “Hello, XXXX Verified” within the brave://rewards
In the Rewards page it says 0 BAT, which should be around 5 BAT from the ads I saw in August.
In previous months it worked okay, I used to self-tip to my creator account, which paid to Gemini successfully.
I have since updated my Brave version following a security issue (and again today)

I had read other users had experienced something similar, however they have since received their payments. Apologise in advance if this is a case of just waiting longer.

Have you manually turned off Auto-contribute on all of your devices linked to Uphold??
Yes, auto-contribute is off

It might be possible it will be paid out in October during payouts for August. Or was the 5 BAT sent to Uphold instead? Just a thought to check while waiting for an admin to respond.

I don’t have an uphold account I’ve been waiting for Gemini so went down the route of self tipping until it was available.

Ah I heard somewhere that the payments can take up to 30 days. It would be good to see if Verified wallets (Gemini) was also included in the Payout Status, as I’m assuming both would be completed at the same time.

Does anyone know the reasoning behind the payments taking so long (genuinely interested not a dig!)?

  • Copy/paste your Wallet ID (found on brave://rewards-internals)
  • Your OS and Brave version (first three lines in brave://version)
  • A screenshot of your Rewards panel in Settings --> Brave Rewards.
