[Android] Dark Mode does not work in Brave [Stable], it does work on Brave Nigthly

  3. there is a quick switch missing on main UI to toggle dark/light mode - can it be added in a place eg of Home button?
  4. changing light/dark mode thru Brave options is very uncomfortable
  5. even the dark mode works in Nigthly the bottom task bar, wher you have tabs opened is still solid White.

Have you tried:

  1. Settings > Display > Appearance: Automatic

  2. Night mode: Disabled

  3. Brave Shields & Privacy > Private Browsing Only: Enabled

Yes, also on Brave (stable) there is a problem when i want to disable experimental dark mode - when i click turn off this function, brave wants to restart, but after restart this option remains on.

What the design of the dark mode? When it`s activated it should respect system color scheme (light/dark) and when dark mode is set on system, the website also should be rendered in dark mode?
