Description of the issue:
I have upgraded to
Version 1.51.114 Chromium: 113.0.5672.92 (Official Build) (64-bit)
version and now I have lost all the data (saved password, bookmarks, history, already login sessions of the account) everything.
I am unable to use the anything, all my urgent data in my accounts are linked with one another and I reached dead point to restore all my accounts.
Also I can see there are Gbs of data in config and cache which is expected size before upgrade also. So it means new update is somehow not reading this data
Can you try to actually get the latest version? Current is 1.51.118. I know someone else on Linux shared their issue resolved.
UPDATE: My missing password issue appears to be fixed after installing Brave Version 1.51.118 Chromium: 113.0.5672.126 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Today I updated to opensuse:tumbleweed:20230515 which included Brave 1.51.118. After installation, my hidden passwords became visible again and the Brave password manager appears to functioning as it did before version 1.51.110.
Thanks to all those who helped document, investigate, and resolve this issue.
EDIT: added additional info

Nope, it didnt work. Now the session of brave community was also gone, and I had to relogin to it
@tbhaxor ok. But you still need to go to that topic, read it, then reply with information. That’s where Support and developers are asking everyone to go, so things are easier to track.
