I lost all my passwords in an automatic update. I see this issue has been addressed in the ‘Brave Community’ a number of times, but evidently it has not been remedied.
Why didn’t Brave management give users a heads up that such a flaw existed? What happened here, Brave?
And as I saw in some of the answer threads, advising us to build a backup password file after they are lost isn’t helpful at all.
I used Brave exclusively. I had been quite happy with it. But now I am digging out passwords from years ago, and I’m sure I’ll be at this for quite some time. I can’t take the risk of this happening again. So my question to the Brave Community is: What is another secure browser to use?
