Maybe I’ve missed it, but I have looked through all the menus in the app, checked the web, and the Brave discussion boards to see if there is a way to save a link to the iOS Home Screen. I was able to do it on my android, but there doesn’t seem to be an obvious solution to adding a link to iOS Home Screen. Hopefully I’m just overlooking a pretty basic feature?
@Mdc05,
At this time there is no “Home” button that you can set on iOS. Apologies for the inconvenience.
@Mattches They added support for 3rd party browsers to add links to the home screen in iOS 16.4
Chrome recently added support: https://9to5mac.com/2023/07/14/google-chrome-web-apps-ios/
Hello. Any updates on this?
The 9 to 5 Mac article:
“lets users add their favorite websites to the iOS Home Screen”
Copy the URL address from the Brave Browser URL address field, and follow the instructions at:
Thank you. I am able to add something to the home screen from safari. However, when I open it again, it doesn’t look like it opens in Brave as I can see adds and popups. If I open the same link in Brave itself, I don’t see any ads.
Bah! Cannot edit the iOS homescreen’s saved website thing.
