Add link button to home page

Just started using Brave. I noticed I get a link button automatically added to my home page. It seems to behave based on frequency of sites visited before one is automatically added. When Brave is closed and then re-opened I see they are removed. These buttons have pin option so they can persist. I was wondering if one can somehow add a page link button manually to the home page. That would be great since I can pin all my desired sites to the home page and also customize it every so often. I like these home page link buttons as it makes it easier to get to a site rather than going through pull down menus from folders.
