Add an option to disable rounded tabs

The new rounded tabs are now not efficient to click on tabs fast because I can’t put my cursor to the top limit of my screen and click tab I need to point a little bit down, I would love an option to disable the rounded tabs and have the old ones.

I created an account just to heart this and add that I absolutely hate these new rounded corners for tabs. Stop making everything a squircle like google.

You can return to the old style tabs by disabling the flag called
#brave-horizontal-tabs-update
At least until they take it away  Let’s hope they get back to their senses before then…

I don’t quite know how to do that, could you please explain more?

In the address bar type brave://flags
This will take you to a list of additional configurations (which might break your browser if messed with carelessly).
In the search bar paste #brave-horizontal-tabs-update to find the right setting. This should only return one result and via the dropdown, set it to disabled and confirm the browser restart when prompted.

I dare say the rounded corners and the visual design is one thing - love it or hate it, it’s not really impacting work. But the fact that the new tabs have a pixel or two of top margin is the real pain the backside, and I sincerely hope the Brave team recognizes how annoying this is.
