Activating and exiting fullscreen mode messes up vertical tabs

I have been trying out vertical tabs recently and I quite like it. However, I have noticed that whenever I switch to fullscreen, for example to watch video, regular tabs are completely gone when exiting fullscreen mode, and pinned tabs are moved completely to the top above the backward/forward arrows

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Turn on vertical tabs
  2. Activate fullscreen
  3. Exit fullscreen

Expected result:
Expected result would be to see the vertical tabs like before fullscreen mode

Version 1.62.153 Chromium: 121.0.6167.85 (Official Build) (arm64)
MacOS Sonoma 14.2.1.
