I am BAT user for the past two years and BAT coins have never been added to my account.

I am recently getting below error and when I try to create custodial account I am getting Flag concern from Uphold for 2 years now.

Kindly help me on this to resolve the issue.

On October 30, 2023 at 7:00 PM, we will be discontinuing support for existing virtual BAT balances. Connect a custodial account before this date so we can transfer your earned balance to your custodial account, otherwise your balance will be lost.

Oh no, my issue is that I need to reconnect my uphold account, but brave is flagging the uphold site as unsafe to visit. I believe this has been the case for some time now.

Maybe you can just wait until Gemini gets fixed since Gemini does work in the US. There is just a temporary issue going on with it.

Well, it should give an option of continue to site or so?
Would you have any extensions installed on the profile? Could you disable and try again?

I tried to continue to the site anyway cautiously, but apparently the website is blocked in Indonesia

I’m having the same issue. Not sure how my usage would appear to be unlike a normal Brave user.

It sometimes can be a false flag but can also be true if it thinks you tried earning more BATs by doing something abnormal.

Well, Indonesia hasn’t been a supported country for a very long time. So you won’t be able to connect. You can see a list of supported countries at https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/articles/6539887971469

And this has been because of Uphold, which had not allowed new accounts for a while. You’ll see Indonesia on the list of countries not supported by Uphold at https://support.uphold.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026786712-Non-Supported-Geographies-

What problem? Everyone is getting that message because vBAT not happening anymore. This was announced long ago in https://brave.com/rewards-changes/ and then more recently with https://brave.com/vbat-sunset/

Brazil is supported, so you should be able to link to Uphold with no issues. So what’s your “same problem?”

Hello! I was having trouble connecting my Brave Rewards to Uphold Wallet. But I opened a case at the Brave Help Center and Uphold itself and they responded shortly that my problem was solved and I finally got it. Thank you for your attention

Wrong, this is only something Brave can answer. Even if Gemini still works in the US, it can delist BAT with a finger snap like it did in Canada and other countries, stealing the users’ BAT balances. This is very shady. The fact that Brave killed vBAT, forcing people to transfer their balances to these two exchanges, only for them to delist BAT soon after. This is a scam, a fraud, call it what you want.

For what? The next 24 hours? 2 weeks? Doesn’t matter. My balance was on Gemini and it’s gone. Starting over and KYCing with another exchange that may very well disappear overnight is foolish and just further encouraging this kind of behavior. I’d be essentially asking for things to repeat themselves, no? By the way, do we know how much Gemini pocketed in this operation?
