Ability to freely close group tabs and re-open from a new setting tab

With many group tabs open, some may be closed for a cleaner and smoother desktop (if not in use). However, if the user wants to clear some desktop space briefly by closing group tabs (not collapsing) and want to re-open the group tab, then they need to open the history setting to retrieve the group tab.

REQUEST:
A solution to this may be adding a new setting for ‘closed group tags’ (similar saving process to history) that allows the user to freely close group tabs and automatically save them in this new setting.

There is an Addon called “Easy undo closed tab”, it looks way worse than Firefoxes “reopen closed tab” and Brave doesnt allow moving it, but this could provide that functionality for you, and would give a hint on what to implement?
