AAdvantage eShopping℠ button doesn't track purchase



And the site where I do most of my shopping is Vitacost.com

So it took me 6-8 months to realize that Brave was causing this problem & this caused a whole bunch of stress for me because I had to get a manger from the company who manages the air miles for American Airline & that wasn’t an easy feat & it took weeks.

I had to convince her to go through the excel file with TONS of purchases I had made where there were no miles given to me.

That’s a lot of work.

When you make a purchase on a site who is part of this program, it’s supposed to popup & say that it tracked the order & I should get an e-mail shortly thereafter, but of course that has nothing to do with Brave.

Most of the time I got the popup saying it tracked the order, but I never got the points & unless I log into their site & check, I would have no way of knowing & of course I forget b/c you don’t get the miles right away, it can take upto 21 days.

You have to click on a button to activate the extension which I do b/c it pops up automatically when you go to one of the sites.

If it was just one order that wasn’t tracked ok, it could just be a glitch, but it was tons of orders on different days, months, etc…


Can you try to change your shield settings for both AAdventage eShopping and Vitacost to “Allow all cookies”? Via Brave icon at URL bar.

It’s per site shield settings and will not affect other sites.


No clue.

It’s now working without the shields changed.

Very strange.

If anything changes, I’ll let you know, but I don’t change my p/w every week. I didn’t realize they allowed me to add users so now I’ll never have to change mine.
